What makes Boogie Mites different?
There are many pre-school music groups around but Boogie Mites is different in so many ways:
- Use original songs written and produced by Boogie Mites that include a range of music styles and musical skills, plus we re-record traditional songs - the result fresh, fun and uplifting songs enjoyed by teachers, EY Practitioners, parents and children alike
- Offer a creative, participative, active and flexible format to encourage self-expression. It is an approach that is designed to and delivers an environment that children quickly feel part of as they embrace and follow the routine - inspired by the both the exciting activities and adults participation.
- We encourage the use of home made, eco-friendly props and instruments
- Themed songs and workshops to support learning
- Many songs and activities use Rhythm Sticks as they are a fabulous literacy aid for the 2+ children and aid co-ordination and rhythm at a younger age, helping children to feel the beat.
- Cross-curricular benefits covering all six areas of the EYFS and are endorsed by Early Years Professionals
- Boogie Mites Teachers passion for singing, love of Boogie mites and belief in the power of music to support learning in the Early Years, creates an enthusiastic and productive learning environment
Why should parents become involved in the music movement programme?
Here are just three great benefits from the music and movement programmes tailored for parents:
-
As a parent/carer you will gain access to fantastic children's music you want to listen to, plus gain ideas for making the sharing of music with your children at home fun and unknowingly to the children, educational.
-
Repetition is essential to every Child's learning. The parent programme provides parents the opportunity to be taught the songs in the programmes that their children are learning; therefore you can repeat the songs and share in the enjoyment of singing them together at home, in the car or walking down the high street!
-
The parent link programme provides an excellent way for links to be made between parents and educational settings, supporting shared learning
