Boogie Mites provide a friendly and creative setting where young children and their parents/carers share in the fun and excitement inherent in musical activity.
Discovering Music and So Much More. Over the year we will cover 18 themed workshops, which reflect the learning experience of young children, providing a platform for effective visual and interactive learning, whilst developing basic music skills, self-expressions and creativity.
Each class is tailored for the age and make up of the group, with the primary aim of introducing music and movement as fun and inspiring activity.
Classes for the over threes including a “focus on music” section that uses musical games/exercises to further develop the music skills learnt each term.
Initial Notes:
Don't worry if your child is shy or reluctant to join in at first. Remember that it can take a few weeks for some little ones to feel at ease in a new environment. You may find that your child does not join in much during the class, but repeats the lesson at home where he/she is more comfortable. That is normal!
We generally find that as a child becomes increasingly familiar with the songs, teacher and other students in the class he/she will gain the self-assurance to participate fully. Watch the video testimonal
